ISRAELI AIRCRAFT TRACKED OVER BEIRUT ON DAY OF HARIRI ASSASSINATION

Nasrallah gave some detail about Israeli Air Force activity over Beirut on the day of Hariri's assassination. He said that Israeli fighter aircraft, an AWACS and a spy plane were flying over Beirut from about two hours before the assassination until two hours after, and that a known Israeli bomber was in the area of the assassination the day before.

What we need to know is if the presence of several Israeli fighter aircraft AND an AWACS AND a spy plane over Beirut is usual, or if that particular combination of IAF presence over Beirut was common at and around February 2005.

From what I saw of this press conference, Nasrallah has
1. provided some very interesting evidence, but not conclusive (as he himself admits)
2. set tongues wagging

He said he has not revealed all the evidence, because he didn't want to reveal more spying capabilities of Hezbollah, but he did say that he was prepared to reveal further evidence to a Lebanese inquiry and not to the corrupt UN investigation.
